An absolute waste of people’s time!

An absolute waste of people’s time!
Used to be a great place to get what you needed at a good price, but you try to buy anything now...OUT OF STOCK everywhere..
Cannot believe how downhill this company has gone now..what a shame. My advice is don’t bother and shop somewhere else.

Never order expensive items ONLINE

Never been more dissatisfied with a store. Spent 400 euro on a wardrobe back at the start of October 2020, it is now mid April 2021. Been over 6 months since I placed an order and not only has it not been delivered but we were also ignored or blown off by the customer service throughout the 6 months of wait. I dont usually leave bad reviews but I am sick and tired of their bull. All they do is either transfer us to someone else or tell us they wont have an answer until "next week" and then just never get back to us. We bought our house we done up the whole thing whithin the first few weeks/months and yet I cant even store my clothes anywhere because i know for a fct that the second i order a wardrobe elsewhere this one will be delivered. At least give me a bloody refund its really not that hard. I never had problems buying things INSTORE but online? Never again.

Been looking for garden items for months but never no stock in, they should get new stock in it's a lockdown people start doing there gardens for spring summer shouldn't advertise something if you never have it in stock. Trying to call on the phone since lockdown waiting on the phone for ages & get past to one person from another.

Refused !!!!Shocked to be told today that an…

Shocked to be told today that an essential medical gym ball would not be sold to me ( had a back injury and I am out of work for physio) and staff in Dunlaoghaire refused to sell as per Government advice ! Since when to recover from an injury , it is not an essential thing to do with the medical ( gym ) ball that you have in store !!!!!
Disgusted as can’t get my exercises done as wont be able to buy an essential item!!!!!!!
Never going back as the staff was very unprofessional saying ,,, that if the gyms are closed.... why should we sell them ‘’
I would like a reason behind this rejection upon buying an essential item to recover and can’t wait to get the answer back as it is shocking ridiculous!!!!!!

I have been trying to buy a treadmill…

I have been trying to buy a treadmill for months now. Despite Argos having an entire page of items to chose from they are all out of stock or not available for delivery. Same experience for an official xbox one controller. The site has wasted my time again and again. If you dont have it....dont advertise it. You complete in the same market as the likes of Amazon. I just cant see how Argos will remain in business.

Do not order home delivery from Argos. Waited 3 weeks for delivery and the item was damaged

Waited 3 weeks for delivery for a wardrobe, when it finally came it was warped and damaged - they obviously aren't stored properly. Returned it and cancelled the order. Found a nicer, better quality wardrobe on lovefurniture.ie which was cheaper than Argos and they delivered it within 3 working days! Argos need to cop on, improve the quality of the products they sell and hire more delivery people.

Everything out of stock or not…

Everything out of stock or not available for home delivery. Website crashes often. I placed an order for several items 2 weeks ago, never arrived i rang to see where it was but got no answer. I checked my bank account and I had been refunded. No notice or email. Bad service lads. If you cant work close down. Simple.

Everything is either out of stock of not available for delivery

Everything is either out of stock or home delivery not available. How are we supposed to buy items we need? So frustrated with this company. They used to be so good now they've gone down the drain!
